The Alley

Our TasteMakersCHS gang was invited to The Alley this past Friday to sample their new #843 happy Hour Menu. A few of of us met up with some other members of Charleston's media that were invited and began our weekend the best way we could think of - with food, drinks and amigos. #843 designates The Alley's new unbeatable price points for their Happy Hour drinks and bites- with $8 Bottles of Red or White Wine, $4 Local Draft Beers and $3 Appetizers. We each were treated to either one bottle of wine (way toooo much for Char to drink solo) or two local draft beers along with two apps to try.
In true TasteMakers fashion, we each ordered different apps so we could sample the menu in its entirety, including.....
Pizza Spring Rolls: pepperoni, mozzarella and basil with side of marinara sauce
Loaded Tots: smoked gouda fondue, chopped bacon, green onions, parmesan, sour cream
6 Wings with choice of flavors: Honey Habanero (pictured above), Buffalo, Lemon Pepper, Teriyaki, Hot Yaki or Ranch, complete with ranch or blue cheese for dipping
Pimento Cheese Sliders; housemade pimento cheese, arugula, tomatoes
BBQ Pork Sliders: chow chow, red BBQ Sauce
Chicken & Waffle Sliders w. cayenne maple syrup
BLT Sliders
It truly doesn't get better than $12 for after-work bites & a buzz which is why we all give The Alley's new Happy Hour menu all the thumbs up! I know I will definitely be back, not only for an after work bowling Happy Hour with friends. Gotta put my 8th Grade Bowling League skills to good use. Yes I have my own T-Shirt & Ball. No Shame in the Middle School Nerd Game.
